Two juveniles arrested for Milton burglary

MILTON, Ga. -- Milton police have arrested two juveniles in connection with a February break-in at a local condominium community.

The suspects, who are both under 17, cannot be identified per Georgia law. They have been charged with one count of burglary each in a case at the Villages of Devonshire on Deerfield Parkway.

Milton Police Chief Deborah Harrell said detectives are examining property seized through a search warrant to see if the two teens could be involved in up to four other recent burglaries in the Deerfield Parkway/Ga. 9 corridor area.

"I can't say enough how pleased I have been with the tremendous amount of time and effort our uniform patrol officers and criminal investigators have spent running down leads in this case," Harrell said. "I am extremely proud of their hard work."

Both suspects were taken to the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center in Atlanta.
