Milton to host Bulky Trash Amnesty Day

MILTON, Ga. -- It's that time of year again. The City of Milton is giving residents a chance to get rid of some of their large trash items for free.

On Saturday, Sept. 13 from 8 a.m. to noon, the City of Roswell Public Works Division will collect bulky trash from Milton and Roswell residents. Proof of residency is required to participate; utility bills are preferred.

Accepted items include furniture; refrigerators; washers and dryers; televisions; deactivated cell phones; computer equipment; mattresses and box springs; grills; and lawnmowers.

Organizers will not be able to take paint, fluids, batteries, construction materials or yard waste.

The Roswell Public Works Division is located at 1810 Hembree Road.
