Webb/Deerfield park meeting Thursday

MILTON, Ga. -- Don't forget that Thursday, March 21, the City of Milton Parks and Recreation Department will hold an open house on a proposed pocket park at the corner of Deerfield Parkway and Webb Road.

The meeting will start at 7 p.m. in City Council Chambers of Milton's City Hall, 13000 Deerfield Parkway Suite 107 E.

Ideas for the roughly one-acre park purchased with MARTA funding include a veterans' memorial and walking trail with outdoor exercise stations. However, nothing is set in stone, and city officials want to hear from residents to make sure these concepts meet community expectations.
