CUMMING, Ga. -- Help adoptive and foster children in Forsyth County by running a colorful 5K this weekend.

Color Outside the Lines 5K covers participants in colorful powder as they tear through the course. It is fun and safe for runners of all ages.

The race will be held Saturday, July 12 at 8 a.m. at the Cumming Fairgrounds. Packet pick-up will be July 11 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Sports Authority in the Mansell Crossing shopping center near North Point Mall.

Race finishers will be treated to a celebration featuring music, food and a giant paint throw. All runners will receive technical T-shirts, while awards will be given to the top finishers in each age group.

Registration is $25 and can be completed at safft.org. Money raised by Color Outside the Lines will benefit Supporting Adoption & Foster Families Together (SAFFT), a non-profit organization that serves foster and adoptive children and their caregivers.

The Cumming Fairgrounds are located at 235 Castleberry Road.
